Frog, lizard, snake, turtle and crocodile products are the edible parts from various animal species of the zoological classes Amphibia and Reptilia, usually wild, harvested for food. A few edible species of terrestrial (land) snails are cultivated. They have an inedible outer shell. Insects are eaten as food in some areas of the world, which includes, for example crickets, cicadas, grasshoppers, ants, and a variety of grubs and beetles.
