The group includes Liquid extract of plant origin, i.e. ingredients obtained by separating components of (plant) materials based on their affinity with a liquid phase (extraction solvent) and presented in liquid form. The part consumed/analysed is by default the whole or a portion of it representing the observed heterogeneity. When relevant, information on the part consumed/analysed has to be reported with additional facet descriptors.
