The group includes any type of baking and artisanal-preparation aids. In particular, those preparations used for home-made food. The part consumed/analysed is by default the whole marketed unit or a homogeneous representative portion.

Generic term (Level of detail)

A term that pins down only a food's general nature, not its specific source (e.g. 'Dried vegetables', without saying which vegetable). Used only as a fallback when nothing more specific applies. ↩

A food made by combining ingredients of different natures — a recipe — such as a sauce or a flavoured yogurt. ↩
