The group includes any type of Food Colour, i.e. food additives used to add or restore colour in a food. The part consumed/analysed is by default the whole marketed unit or a homogeneous representative portion.

Generic term (Level of detail)

A term that fixes a food's general nature but not its specific source. To be used only as a base term in a FoodEx2 code if no more specific term is available. ↩

RPC Derivatives/ ingredients (Type of Term)

A food made from a single commodity by a process that changes its nature, such as flour from grain or oil from seeds. ↩
