The group includes starches in form of fine powder obtained from cereals by separating the amylose/amylopectin fraction in form of fine powder. The amylose/amylopectin ratio in the starch granules is depending on the cereal species and variety. All starches are included in this group. Only modified starches, considered under additives (EU regulation) are excluded from this group. The part consumed/analysed is by default the whole or a portion of it representing the observed heterogeneity.
